It presents us with an outstanding bouquet, a very crisp acidity, it surprises any Port wine expert, due to the complexity, refined quality and delayed aftertaste. Dry fruit shell, nougat, honey, caramel, vanilla, toffee, smoke, tobacco and iodine... Toasted with an amazing silky texture... outstanding Dalva Golden White 1952 production, a mythical Vintage year! With a very fashionable good looking 50cl bottle and simple presentation...elegance !

Green hints when balancing the glass, rich in aromatics, dry fruits, figs jam, molasses... sweet.
With a long silky aftertaste, that fulfills the mouth. 

Nowadays our Cellar only makes the DALVA GOLDEN WHITE bottling by request, allowing the continuous aging process of the Dalva Golden White 1952 in small French oak casks.

Dalva Golden White 1963

A normal winter and a cold and rainy spring, with a very dry and hot summer with some rain before the harvest time. In September the days were very hot and warm nights, a perfect weather for the harvest.

Strong wines, with a lot of tannins and amazing color. These were the weather conditions that allowed this outstanding Dalva Golden White 1963 production, a mythical Vintage year!

Bottled in a very fashionable good looking 50cl bottle and distinctive presentation…elegance !
Green tints when balancing the glass, rich in aromas, dry fruits, figs jam, molasses, toffee... With a long silky aftertaste that fulfills the mouth.

Golden White 1971

The third Golden White was really a great surprise, when we first started promoting the release of a Golden White from the seventies there were lots of people, Port lovers, that tried to guess when it has been harvested.

The Golden White 1971...  for those that for a long time, were looking for an amazing Port releated for example with the birth year or some special happening, well, here it is and despite being a difficult year to find, it is a White Colheita Port.

It presents us with a slightly lighter color among the Golden White trilogy, delicated aroma of macerated figs, varnish, nutmeg and lacker.

On the mouth it is really delicious and subtle with a very long delayed aftertaste, where again the matured figs appear upfront with the nutmeg and watery molasses at the end.

With an official Port Wine glass on the hand the same Golden characteristic... the blessed sticky aroma that lasts forever.
