Gourmet tasting at Calima´s restaurant

Port pairing at Calima´s restaurant (2 Michelin stars), at Marbella.

A premium tasting with thirty four guests, journalists, managers of five stars hotels in Marbella, distributors and wine shop´s owners.



Calima´s restaurant is undoubtedly a milestone, a gourmet reference at the south of Spain, choosing for this time, at the re opening (closed during winter´s season) a fabulous event related with Port and gourmet pairing.

Among the different Port categories and brands, for the great finale, Chef Dani Garcia and the sommelier Aurelio Ortiz were keeping the holdest Port... an emblematic single harvest Tawny, a DALVA from 1975.



" Dalva Colheita 1975 - golden ambar colour,  very shinning. Very complex on the nose and long finish, with fragances of vintage, ebony tree, white chocolate, combined with powerful smoky flavours of icy trufle, Lagabulin 16 years old Wisky, has made of this finale an explosion of flavours."
