Oporto city distinguished as the best european destination

Oporto is the first city being distinguished for the second time as the best european destination, it has just been choosen by the European Consumers Choice, a international organization, based in Brussels, which represents the biggest searching tool for the european tourism.The city had already conquered this award in 2012 and competed this current year with another portuguese region, Madeira, that ranked sixth.
In 2013, Oporto was selected as the best destination, competing with nine european cities, a international honor promoted by the publishing house Lonely Planet, worldwide leader in the publication of traveling guides.
Also on the next year, Oporto city has won the second place for the Travelers Choice awards, awarded by TripAdvisor, in the segment of the emerging european destinations and with bigger growth.
